The Forensic DNA Profiling Facility has partnered with a variety of agencies nation-wide for the advancement of education and implementation of forensic DNA analysis in the interest of justice and objectivity in result reporting.

FDPF has recently received a training grant from the National Institute of Justice to provide workshops for forensic DNA analysts in the areas of Population Genetics, Advanced DNA Typing, and Non-Human DNA Typing. These workshops are available to crime lab analysts free of charge.

Equine DNA typing research and database development is partially funded by the USDA Forest Service, and we have also partnered with the Central Oregon Wild Horse Coalition to reach a broader community.
